Backstage München
work in progress
Taking Stock of a Cult(ure) Site
The Backstage project approaches photography as a form of subjective perception. At its centre is the lived experience of the place: light, material and the traces of use condense into impressions that carry the atmosphere of a space shaped by people and music. The image becomes a vessel for this experience, turning impression into memory. If the Backstage preserves its spirit through redevelopment, this memory opens onto the present: the images become a link between what exists and what is to come, making tangible what carries the place beyond its transformation.
